Land Revenue Offices will not be open from tomorrow

The government is set to open all the revenue offices in the country from tomorrow. The Department of Land Management and Records has issued a circular to all subordinate bodies and directed them to continue internal administration and other internal affairs.

Krishna Prasad Joshi, branch officer in charge of land administration of the department, said that the services including land and land passes directly related to the people will be provided only after the government sets clear procedures.
He clarified that the staffs will now go to the office and work on computer updates, blockades from other stations, etc., and as the financial year is coming to an end, only the preparation work including land valuation will be done.
He said that it would be easier to prepare for the service flow after the staff goes to the office, adding that the work will not be done in the presence of the people.
